The worship is led by a staff member and several other talented Impact musicians. We strive to provide an environment where the Spirit can move and students can feel free to openly worship God. Teaching Pastor, Justin Wallace, speaks every Sunday and gives insightful messages that use the Bible as a springboard to help us love God with zeal and follow Jesus with enthusiasm. Perhaps most importantly, the Gathering provides a place for people to connect with one another in community and form relationships that bring them closer to God not just while they are living in Charlotte, but that will launch them out for a lifetime of living as passionate Christ- followers.

The Impact community is always looking for ways to re:define what it means to throw a party. We want to throw parties that include healthy environments. We wants parties all year. And finally we want to throw the biggest parties on campus. In light of that desire we start the year off with a bang...or a massive explosion. Every year, on the 1st Wednesday of classes at 7P we throw a huge waterballoon fight on the front fields of campus. You don't have to sign up or be involved with Impact to join in. Just come to the front fields and jump in!

Every Fall & Spring semester we have a weekend retreat. These are the times that create community and give us the opportunity to get away from the busyness of college life & work expectations and spend time intentionally pursing God. These two weekends are two of the most important things that we do because after we come back there is a sense of community that didn't exist before. The 2011 Fall Retreat will be September 30-October 2 at Park Springs Christian Center.
e73 is our monthly social event. It's a time to take a break, get away and connect with other people within the Impact community. It is also a chance to reach out and invite someone else to come along as we re-define what it means to PARTY! Some of the Impact party traditions are: Skate Night, Christmas Party, Monday Night Football, Super Bowl Party, Tacky Sweater Ice Skating, Camping Trips, Parties at The U, Reading Day Get-a-way, Bobcats game and many others.

R&R stands for Repair & Restore (Isaiah 58:12). This is an opportunity for the members of the Impact community to change lives of others on campus, in the city of Charlotte and around the world. We serve the homeless, the students of UNCC, orphans, families that need help with groceries and we support Impact Alumni who travel around the world to make the Kingdom a reality. Starting this year each Community Group will have a local mission that they partner with and serve at on a monthly basis.

Each spring the Impact community will organize a 49-hour toilet sit in order to raise awareness about the water crisis that affects nearly a billion people around the world. We believe that it is an injustice that every person in the world does not have clean drinking water and we believe that God wants us to do something about it. Therefore, members of the Impact community will take turns sitting on toilets at outside the Student Union at UNC Charlotte in order to raise awareness of the a huge problem around the world and to raise enough funds to build a well in a village in a developing nation.

Cheap Thrills is a night full of comedic skits and improvisational humor. It's a night that expresses the talent of so many in the Impact community. The purpose of Cheap Thrills is to provide a comfortable environment where everyone feels welcome. Cheap Thrills happens only once a semester, so you don't want to miss out on this hilarious event.
